Gartner Recognizes LOCH Technologies
For the 3rd time in a row, Gartner lists LOCH Technologies as a representative vendor in their 2023 Market Guide for Medical Device Security Solutions.
According to Gartner, “High-profile cyber-attacks can create compromises that impact the back office of the HDO and the point of care. As HDOs modernize their infrastructure and refresh aging medical devices with newer, network-connected and programmable replacements, the risk of damage from cyberattacks increases.”
The facts trending thus far in 2023 have been nerve wracking. The HIPAA Journal reported in Aug. ‘23 – There was a 261% month-over-month increase in breached records in July, with 18,116,982 records breached across the 56 reported incidents. The incredibly high total was due to a major data breach at HCA Healthcare that saw the records of 11,270,000 individuals compromised.
