LOCH Presenting at DEF CON 26 in Las Vegas, Aug. 9-12, 2018

LOCH’s Chief Security Officer, Mike Raggo, will be presenting at DEF CON 26 in Las Vegas, August 9-12, 2018. “Started in 1992 by the Dark Tangent, DEF CON is the world’s longest running and largest underground hacking conference. Many of the attendees at DEF CON include computer security professionals, journalists, lawyers, federal government employees, security researchers, students, and hackers with a general interest in software, computer architecture, phone phreaking, hardware modification, and anything else that can be “hacked.””

Mr. Raggo will be presenting two topics both focused on IoT Data Exfiltration based on the latest threat research conducted by LOCH. Times and locations of the presentations:

  • Saturday, Aug. 11 at 5PM in the DEF CON Packet Hacking Village/Wall of Sheep
    • Topic: IoT Data Exfiltration
  • Saturday, Aug. 11 at 1PM in the DEF CON Skytalks
    • Topic: Exploiting IoT Communications – A Cover within a Cover
